About the Role
The Young Womenâs Christian Association (YWCA) of Singapore is looking for a dynamic and mission-driven Senior Executive, Philanthropy to join our team in Outram. This is a critical role designed for a strategic professional who is passionate about social impact and community development. You will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, deepening donor engagement, and elevating the YWCA brand through integrated marketing and communications strategies.
As a Senior Executive, you will act as a bridge between our community programs and our supporters. You will leverage your expertise in relationship management and storytelling to ensure our initiativesâranging from women's empowerment to children's servicesâreceive the funding and visibility they need to thrive. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve annual revenue targets and long-term sustainability.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and grant-making foundations.
- Design and manage high-impact marketing campaigns to enhance YWCAâs visibility and public awareness.
- Oversee donor stewardship programs, ensuring timely acknowledgement and reporting on the impact of contributions.
- Lead the planning and execution of major fundraising events, from conceptualization to post-event evaluation.
- Manage the donor database (CRM) to analyze giving patterns and identify prospective major gift opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to produce compelling content and case studies for philanthropic appeals.
- Provide regular progress reports on philanthropy metrics and KPIs to the management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related social science field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in fundraising, donor relations, or corporate business development.
- Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and managing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a flair for persuasive storytelling.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals and corporate executives.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiserâs Edge) and digital marketing tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
