Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach truck forklifts in a high-density warehouse environment.
- Execute precise loading and unloading of freight from trailers and ocean containers.
- Perform daily pre-operational safety inspections and maintain equipment maintenance logs.
- Utilize RF scanners to update inventory systems and ensure 99.9% order accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse space by strategically stacking and palletizing products according to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily throughput KPIs and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating industrial forklifts in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
- Current OSHA-compliant Forklift Operator Certification (Sit-down and Reach).
- Proven track record of maintaining an impeccable safety record in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably at heights within racking systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
