As a Senior Loss Prevention Officer, you will conduct thorough patrol sweeps of all areas, including guest floors, common spaces, and perimeter zones. You will expertly monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems, manage perimeter alarm systems, and respond to duress alarms with professionalism and urgency. Your role involves providing seamless guest assistance, including room access support, while maintaining a vigilant presence that deters potential security incidents.
This position requires someone who can effectively balance security protocols with outstanding hospitality. You will collaborate closely with other departments to implement loss prevention strategies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patrol sweeps of all property areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and perimeter zones
- Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems and perimeter alarm systems for suspicious activity
- Respond to duress alarms and emergency situations with appropriate protocols
- Assist guests with room access and provide excellent customer service
- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required
- Train and supervise junior security staff on security procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel industry is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of CCTV systems and security technology
- Strong understanding of emergency response protocols
- Excellent observational and analytical skills
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions during high-pressure situations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Singapore citizenship or valid work pass required
