In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our manufacturing excellence journey. You will be responsible for optimizing production processes, maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and ensuring world-class safety standards. You will leverage your deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Integrated Work Systems (IWS) to design and implement strategies that systematically eliminate waste, increase production capacity, and improve product quality.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will work across departments to standardize best practices. Your key focus areas will include leading the TPM/IWS pillars (Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement), mentoring junior engineers, managing CAPEX projects for process upgrades, and driving robust root cause analysis for chronic losses. Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the implementation of Lean, TPM, and IWS pillars across the manufacturing plant to achieve zero accidents, zero defects, and zero breakdowns.
- Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by identifying and eliminating major losses through focused improvement projects and Kaizen events.
- Analyze production data and process parameters to identify opportunities for yield improvement, cost reduction, and capacity enhancement.
- Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring timely delivery within budget and specified performance targets.
- Mentor and coach a team of junior process engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to resolve complex process issues and implement robust corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and training materials to ensure standardized work practices.
- Conduct regular process audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a process engineering role within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Experience in plastics, extrusion, or fiber manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated mastery of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and IWS methodologies. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is required.
- Proven track record of driving significant improvements in OEE, waste reduction, and safety performance.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing CAPEX budgets and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Power BI).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is mandatory.
