Responsibilities
- Lead the translation of AI and machine learning research into practical, market-ready manufacturing solutions.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technological trends to support long-term strategic R&D initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical development cycles with business objectives and client requirements.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, from technical conceptualization to commercial feasibility analysis and prototyping.
- Engage with industry partners to foster collaborations, pilot projects, and technology transfers.
- Conduct deep-dive market analysis to identify pain points in manufacturing and define technical problem statements.
- Prepare technical whitepapers, business proposals, and grant applications to secure project funding and partnerships.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in research and development, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing context.
- Proven expertise in AI/ML application, industrial automation, or digital transformation strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management skills with a track record of delivering complex technical projects on time.
- Experience in bridging the gap between R&D labs and industry/commercial operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
