Responsibilities
- Lead the editing process for a diverse range of video projects, from conceptualization to final delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with creative directors, producers, and clients to understand project goals and translate vision into compelling visual content.
- Select, log, and organize raw footage, maintaining strict adherence to project timelines and asset management protocols.
- Craft compelling narratives using advanced editing techniques, color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Implement feedback from stakeholders efficiently, ensuring revisions meet creative and technical specifications.
- Mentor junior editors, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, software advancements, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance production quality.
- Ensure all final deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency across various platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency or studio environment with a strong portfolio.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).
- Demonstrable experience with color grading tools (e.g., DaVinci Resolve) and audio mixing.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, compression techniques, and delivery platforms.
- Exceptional storytelling ability with a keen eye for visual aesthetics, pacing, and sound design.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.
