Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise production teams to ensure all daily output targets and KPIs are met efficiently.
  • Enforce strict adherence to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Monitor production workflows and implement real-time adjustments to minimize downtime and waste.
  • Conduct regular shift briefings to communicate goals, safety updates, and operational changes.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Manage workforce planning, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering departments to oversee equipment uptime and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and reports for senior management review.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in Medical Devices or Electronics.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Proven track record of leading diverse teams and fostering a collaborative workplace culture.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.
  • Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift basis as required by production schedules.
