The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail landscape and the ability to turn brand goals into viral social media campaigns. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to manage end-to-end social media operations, from content conceptualization and scheduling to performance analytics and community engagement. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand objectives.
- Create, curate, and schedule high-quality multimedia content (text, image, and video) across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to optimize campaign effectiveness and report on growth.
- Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and brand-aligned tone.
- Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and retail industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Coordinate with internal teams to promote retail launches, sales, and seasonal promotions.
- Manage social media advertising budgets and perform A/B testing on ad creatives to improve ROI.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
- Strong proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing apps (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Rush).
- Excellent command of English and Malay (written and verbal) for compelling copywriting.
- Analytical mindset with experience using social media management platforms and analytics dashboards.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of organic social growth strategies and paid social advertising tactics.
