The Municipal Government of Camiling, Tarlac is a vibrant local government unit committed to transparent, efficient, and data-driven governance. We are currently looking for a competent and highly organized Statistician Aide to join our team in the Ilocos Region.
As a Statistician Aide, you will be at the heart of our development planning process. You will assist in the collection, compilation, analysis, and dissemination of vital statistical data that shapes policies, programs, and projects for the municipality. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about using data to drive positive change in the community.
Working under the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), you will handle data from various sectors including health, education, agriculture, social welfare, and local finance. Your work ensures that every decision made by the local government is backed by accurate, timely, and reliable information.
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with strong quantitative skills. You will conduct field surveys, manage databases, prepare reports for national agencies like the PSA and DILG, and help the LGU achieve its development goals.

Responsibilities
- Assists in the collection, encoding, and processing of statistical data from primary and secondary sources.
- Prepares statistical tables, charts, and graphs for reports and presentations.
- Maintains and updates the municipal database system and community profiles.
- Conducts field interviews, surveys, and data validation activities.
- Responds to inquiries and data requests from various government agencies and stakeholders.
- Assists in monitoring and evaluating the impact of local programs and projects.
- Operates standard office equipment and statistical software applications.
Qualifications
- Completion of two (2) years of college studies in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Career Service (Professional) or appropriate civil service eligibility.
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in data collection and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, or R).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Must be a resident of Ilocos Region or willing to relocate to Camiling, Tarlac.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
