Biolife Medilab is seeking a dedicated Supervisor Accounting to join our finance team in Jakarta Timur. In this role, you will oversee the day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure compliance with Indonesian financial regulations, and lead a team of accounting staff to achieve accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting.
You will be responsible for managing month‑end and year‑end closing processes, preparing comprehensive financial statements, and coordinating with external auditors for statutory audits. Collaborating with senior management, you will help develop and implement internal controls, improve accounting procedures, and support strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise daily accounting activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports.
- Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting personnel, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with Indonesian tax laws and statutory requirements.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance the efficiency of accounting workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in accounting, preferably in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for complex data analysis and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention to detail abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to motivate a team.
- Effective communication skills in Indonesian; English proficiency is an advantage.
