Your Role & Impact

As a Tax Staff at ASRI, you will be the linchpin of our tax operations. Your expertise will ensure that all our business activities, from land acquisition to property sales and corporate operations, comply seamlessly with the ever-evolving Indonesian tax regulations. You will handle the complete lifecycle of tax compliance, from meticulous data gathering and calculation to the timely and accurate filing of all tax returns. Beyond compliance, you will play a key role in tax planning and strategy, working closely with senior management and external consultants to identify tax efficiencies and support the company's financial goals. Your contributions will directly safeguard the company's financial integrity and reputation.

Key Daily Activities

You will manage the preparation and submission of monthly and annual tax returns, including PPh 21, 23, 26, 4(2), and PPN. You will conduct thorough tax research on new projects and property transactions, ensuring optimal tax structuring. A significant part of your role involves interacting with the Tax Office (KPP) to manage audits, requests for information, and other tax correspondence. You will also be responsible for maintaining comprehensive tax databases and supporting the accounting team during month-end and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file corporate and individual tax returns (PPh 21, 23, 26, 4(2), PPN) accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Conduct tax research and provide analysis on tax implications for new real estate projects and property transactions.
  • Manage tax audits and liaise with the tax office (KPP) for documentation and dispute resolution.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants and ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
  • Perform month-end and year-end tax closing processes and reconciliations.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the company's operations.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date tax filing systems and databases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting or Taxation from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in taxation, ideally within the real estate or property development sector.
  • Brevet A and B certifications are highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in tax software (e-Faktur, e-SPT, e-Bupot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
