As a Timekeeper, you will be responsible for managing employee time-in/time-out records, resolving discrepancies, and bridging the gap between field operations and the payroll department. You will thrive in this position if you are proactive, tech-savvy, and dedicated to upholding company policies regarding timekeeping and leave management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record daily attendance, punctuality, and leave credits for all employees accurately.
- Audit timekeeping logs to identify and resolve discrepancies before the payroll cutoff.
- Coordinate with department heads to verify overtime requests and shift schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports and ensure timely submission of attendance data.
- Maintain and update the HR database with employee status changes, leave applications, and attendance records.
- Provide prompt support to employees regarding inquiries about timekeeping policies and leave balances.
- Assist the HR team with administrative tasks related to performance monitoring and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll administration, or administrative support.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, and formulas).
- Strong numerical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse departments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
