Your primary objective will be to manage the front-desk operations efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during busy periods. You will be the face of the clinic, coordinating between pet owners and our medical staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and manage the check-in/check-out process.
- Handle high-volume phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's booking calendar.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure all client information is up to date.
- Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and manage daily cash flow reconciliations.
- Communicate basic preventative care information and prescription instructions to pet owners clearly.
- Coordinate with veterinarians and nursing staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely updates to waiting clients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting lounge to ensure a professional atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Minimum of SPM/STPM or a Diploma in any field; prior experience in customer service or healthcare administration is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin proficiency is an advantage).
- A genuine love for animals and the ability to handle pets with care and empathy.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and a willingness to learn veterinary management software.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to remain organized under pressure.
- Professional appearance and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Availability to work full-time hours, including shifts on weekends if required.
