Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize waste and loss.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations within the warehouse.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and morale.
- Coordinate with logistics and transport teams to schedule deliveries and manage outbound shipments efficiently.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels and equipment maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, supply chain management, and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of performing the demands of the role.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.
