As the Account & Admin Manager, you will assume full ownership of the finance function. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full spectrum of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all tax regulations (SST, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing) and statutory requirements (SSM, MIA).
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the finance and administrative team to achieve departmental goals and foster professional growth.
  • Oversee office administration, procurement, facilities management, and vendor relationships to support smooth daily operations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretaries on all related matters.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or MIA are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and administration, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong working knowledge of MFRS, IFRS, SST, and Malaysian tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (AutoCount, SQL, MYOB, or equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
