Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations and ensure the accuracy of project-related financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, cost reports, and project variances to support decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders, quotations, and proposals by providing accurate cost estimates and budgeting support.
- Monitor project budgets and control expenses to ensure adherence to financial targets and profitability.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain organized documentation for audit compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and recommend improvements for cost efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to local accounting standards and company internal controls.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of construction accounting principles, project-based costing, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
