You will support the finance department with data entry, reconciliations, invoice processing, and general ledger maintenance. Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and inter-company accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, ledgers, and journals.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
  • Maintain and update the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and adjustments.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in an accounting role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., Autocount, SQL, or UBS).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of basic tax regulations (SST, withholding tax) is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player mindset.
