As an Account Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. You will work closely with the accounting team to handle day-to-day financial tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and maintaining comprehensive accounting records.
The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in using accounting software, with AutoCount knowledge being highly advantageous. Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and payment schedules
- Handle accounts receivable duties, including invoice generation and follow-up on outstanding payments
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records in accordance with company policies
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions
- Generate financial reports and provide support during month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as required
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
- Prior experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable roles is advantageous
- Familiarity with accounting software, preferably AutoCount
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office applications
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in the role
