Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in tax planning, preparation, and filing for clients.
- Conduct regular financial reviews and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive accounting solutions.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to business growth.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and industry trends.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or client management role.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
