Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain full sets of accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports accurately and within strict deadlines.
  • Perform timely bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow movements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including SST filing and corporate tax regulations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries for year-end requirements.
  • Process staff claims and payroll-related accounting entries with high attention to detail.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasting to support management decisions.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all financial documents and correspondence.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (LCCI/ACCA/CPA).
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role is required.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysia’s accounting standards and prevailing tax laws (SST).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin is a plus for client communication.
  • Residing in or willing to work in the Klang/Port Klang area.
