Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will encompass the end-to-end accounting cycle. You will prepare monthly financial reports, manage SST and corporate tax submissions, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and liaise with external auditors. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a strong grasp of MFRS standards and manufacturing cost accounting. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, SQL) is essential.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of SST returns, CP204, and other statutory filings.
- Support external and internal audit processes by preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in a full-set accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, SAP, UBS). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a must.
- Sound knowledge of MFRS, MPERS, and Malaysian tax regulations (SST, Corporate Tax).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
