In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the core financial operations of the company. You will manage the end-to-end process of invoicing clients, processing vendor payments, and meticulously recording all financial transactions. A key aspect of your job will be performing monthly reconciliations of bank statements, accounts, and ledgers to ensure absolute accuracy. You will also play a crucial role in monitoring accounts aging, following up on outstanding payments, and resolving any discrepancies that arise. Furthermore, you will assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and support the team during annual audit exercises. Ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and tax regulations (including SST) is a fundamental part of this role.
We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in accounting principles. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance and has at least 1–2 years of experience, specifically in handling AR/AP. Proficiency in accounting software (such as SQL, UBS, or AutoCount) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential. You must be meticulous, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is required for effective communication.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and debit notes to clients accurately and promptly.
- Process vendor invoices, ensure proper approvals, and schedule payments efficiently.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and general ledger analysis.
- Monitor accounts aging to ensure timely collections and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports and schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, tax regulations (SST), and statutory requirements.
- Maintain systematic filing and assist with annual audit preparations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in accounting, preferably in AR/AP roles.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., UBS, SQL, AutoCount) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, bookkeeping, and reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with Malaysian tax laws (SST, Income Tax) and statutory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
