Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including timely generation of invoices and statements.
- Monitor and track customer payments, ensuring all collections are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify payment against sales reports from retail outlets.
- Proactively follow up on overdue accounts and resolve payment discrepancies to minimize bad debt.
- Maintain an organized and updated database of customer accounts and credit history.
- Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports for management review to support cash flow planning.
- Coordinate with the retail team to resolve billing queries or payment-related issues promptly.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and ensure all AR entries comply with accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general bookkeeping functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, or Autocount) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Malay to handle professional correspondence.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
