About the Role
Aglow Medical Group Sdn Bhd, a leading healthcare provider in Malaysia, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive / Assistant to join our dynamic finance team based at our headquarters in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur.
As an Account Executive / Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the group. You will be responsible for managing accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This position is ideal for an accounting professional looking to deepen their expertise in a corporate healthcare environment that values precision and integrity.
Your key responsibilities will include managing full sets of accounts (AP & AR), preparing monthly financial statements and management reports, assisting with budget preparation and cash flow forecasts, handling bank reconciliations, and liaising with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies. You will also process staff claims, maintain financial documentation, and support the Finance Manager on ad-hoc projects.
We are looking for someone with a Diploma or Degree in Finance/Accountancy, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software like SQL or Autocount. Strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential.

Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Handle bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash transactions.
- Liaise with internal departments, external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
- Process staff claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of all financial records and receipts.
- Support the Finance Manager in ad-hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of integrity.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
