Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of daily financial entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Support the finance team with month-end closing activities and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and organize financial documentation for internal audit purposes.
- Monitor and track company expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Prepare periodic financial reports to support management decision-making.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply; prior internship experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of accounting software.
- Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of handling sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to commit to a full-time role in Shah Alam.
