Responsibilities
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Philippine accounting standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (VAT, income tax, withholding taxes) and compliance with BIR regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities for construction projects.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining documentation and providing required reports.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA license or progress toward CPA certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
