Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and cost‑accounting data to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, including SST, withholding tax, and annual tax filings.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, optimizing cash flow and vendor relationships.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of ERP or accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) to streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights for budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, MYOB, or QuickBooks).
