Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and cost‑accounting data to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations, including SST, withholding tax, and annual tax filings.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, optimizing cash flow and vendor relationships.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ERP or accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights for budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, MYOB, or QuickBooks).
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian GST/SST and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
