Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for crew and office personnel ensuring 100% accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are reconciled against maritime operational data.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local BIR regulations and international standards.
- Maintain and update financial records in the company’s ERP system, ensuring data integrity across all ledger entries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline crew cost reporting and expense management.
- Participate in annual audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in general accounting or payroll management.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, accounting standards (IFRS), and financial reporting practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using major Accounting ERP software.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
