Bigera Alliance is hiring an Accountant (Chinese) to join our dynamic finance team in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. In this position, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly close, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. You will work closely with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and provide timely financial insights to management. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, assisting with audits, and supporting payroll and statutory filings. You will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls while maintaining data accuracy in our ERP system. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with month-end close.
- Support payroll processing and statutory filings (EPF, SOCSO, PCB) as applicable.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors in bilingual (Mandarin and English) communications.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain robust internal controls and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and company policies.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and monitor cash flow as part of daily finance activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting or related field; professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) are a plus.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience; Chinese language proficiency required.
- Familiarity with Malaysian tax regulations and statutory filings; knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, PCB is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB, SAP) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines; good communication skills in Mandarin and English.
