Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end general ledger activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Utilize SAP to extract, analyze, and report on financial data for operational review.
- Monitor and track expenses, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and controls.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline financial workflows and data accuracy.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes, ensuring all documentation is audit-ready.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong technical proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules) is highly preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling.
- Deep understanding of MFRS/IFRS and local tax regulations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
