Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Support the team with GST filing and statutory compliance requirements.
- Monitor petty cash flow and process expense claims for internal staff.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain proper filing systems for all financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or equivalent) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and standards.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
