Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local regulations.
- Manage tax compliance and ensure timely filing of all statutory requirements with the BIR, SEC, and local government units.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, analyzing variances to provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Monitor cash flow positions and optimize working capital to ensure operational liquidity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and current BIR tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and foster a culture of accuracy and accountability.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
