Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts to ensure accuracy
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain data integrity
- Assist with auditing processes and provide necessary documentation
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain organized financial files
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus
