Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment
- Manage accounts payable ledger and reconcile vendor statements
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare payment batches and process transactions through banking systems
- Maintain organized digital and physical documentation of all transactions
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Support audits by providing accurate payable documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of accounts payable experience preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards (PFRS)
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Good communication skills for vendor interactions
