Responsibilities
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts as needed.
- Support the finance team during month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Manage petty cash and employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Organize and maintain accurate financial documentation, both physical and digital, for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoicing discrepancies and financial queries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and strong MS Office Suite skills, especially Excel.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
