As an essential member of our organization, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy of our financial records and supporting our operational efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of our accounting records, ensuring that every transaction is processed timely and accurately. You will work closely with the management team to prepare financial statements and manage the company's payables and receivables. Responsibilities
- Accurately record daily business transactions in the accounting system.
- Perform daily posting of collections and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice tracking and verification.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements.
- Maintain organized and secure financial filing systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and clients regarding payment discrepancies or inquiries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in cash flow monitoring.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
