Responsibilities
- Process and record accounting transactions including journal entries, invoices, and payments with accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and management accounts under supervision
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within the shared services team
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes and financial audits
- Maintain accurate accounting records and filing systems in compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
- Support the implementation of accounting best practices and procedural improvements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized institution
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior internship experience in accounting is an advantage
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
