Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions.
- Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with Philippine accounting standards.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and junior staff, providing guidance and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial planning models.
- Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, banking requirements, and internal control policies.
- Lead the external annual audit process and coordinate effectively with external auditors.
- Review and analyze financial reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA License or Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of Philippine Tax laws and SEC regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
