Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Manage the full cycle of financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in compliance with PFRS/IFRS.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Spearhead treasury management activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis, offering strategic insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national tax regulations (BIR) and other statutory requirements.
- Manage external audits, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors and facilitating the audit process.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or head-level role.
- Demonstrated expertise in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proven experience with comprehensive financial reporting, budgeting, and treasury management.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
