PASIA is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to support receivables, data entry, reporting, and admin tasks while assisting audits and maintaining organized financial records. This role offers a hands on introduction to core accounting processes in a professional environment.
Based in Makati City, you will work alongside our finance team to learn best practices in financial documentation, reconcile accounts, and contribute to timely reporting. You will gain exposure to accounts receivable activities, data entry accuracy, and the preparation of financial statements, while developing a solid foundation in internal controls and compliance.
As an intern you will receive mentorship from experienced accountants, participate in structured tasks, and have the opportunity to demonstrate initiative and problem solving. Responsibilities
- Support accounts receivable activities including invoicing, aging analysis, and collections coordination
- Assist data entry and maintain organized financial records in the accounting system
- Help prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports for management
- Support month end close processes by reconciling accounts and verifying data accuracy
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, vendor and customer record maintenance
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure data integrity and timely updates
- Assist during internal and external audits with documentation and sample testing
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the accounting team
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; basic knowledge of accounting software
- Familiarity with fundamental accounting concepts and controls
- Good written and verbal communication and teamwork
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn
- Able to commit to a structured internship schedule and adapt to a professional environment
