Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Support the team in preparing GST and corporate tax computations for review.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and aging reports.
  • Conduct systematic filing and maintenance of financial records in compliance with audit standards.
  • Participate in client onboarding and periodic financial health reviews.
  • Support the team during external and internal audit preparation cycles.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is essential.
  • Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB is a significant advantage.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail when managing financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethical standards.
