Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure high-quality output and adherence to company policies.
- Review weekly and monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Manage tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of local and national tax returns.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual audits and tax examinations.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial transparency.
- Analyze financial performance and prepare budget forecasts to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (CPA license is highly preferred).
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and current tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero, or Quickbooks) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight financial reporting deadlines.
- High integrity, professional ethics, and attention to detail.
