Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Supervise payroll processing to ensure compliance and accuracy for all employees.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage general ledger entries.
- Maintain compliance with local tax regulations, including BIR reporting and filing.
- Develop and implement internal financial controls to minimize risk and improve efficiency.
- Provide analytical reports to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and MS Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR requirements, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities.
