In this role, you will oversee the end‑to‑end accounting cycle, from transaction recording to the preparation of statutory reports, ensuring compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and tax regulations. You will partner with senior leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management, while mentoring a team of accounting staff.

- Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, producing accurate financial statements.
- Ensure timely submission of tax returns (VAT, income tax) and regulatory reports to the BIR and SEC.
- Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and improve process efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and statutory filings.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, producing accurate financial statements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and tax regulations (BIR, SEC).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
