Welding Industries of the Philippines is seeking a meticulous and strategic Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations at our Caloocan City facility. As a cornerstone of our administrative team, you will ensure the integrity of our financial data, drive compliance, and provide actionable insights that support our manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with PFRS.
- Ensure full compliance with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations, including timely filing of all tax returns and attachments.
- Manage the annual external audit process and serve as the primary liaison with auditors.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and budgeting support to senior management for operational decision-making.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting staff to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate with government agencies regarding mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and other statutory requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a valid license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; an MBA or relevant Master's degree is an advantage.
- At least 5-8 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Solid experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws, financial reporting standards (PFRS), and statutory compliance.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting to executive stakeholders.
