Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.
- Prepare and file monthly and quarterly BIR tax requirements and ensure local statutory compliance.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Maintain and update the General Ledger to ensure all entries are accurate and properly documented.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor company cash flow and assist with budgetary controls and expense tracking.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during year-end audits.
- Continuously look for ways to improve internal accounting processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of professional experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Solid understanding of Philippine Accounting Standards and BIR tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar ERP platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
