Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, verification, and processing of invoices and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with local and international vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Support the finance department in performing monthly bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial and procurement records.
- Conduct price canvassing and assist in the evaluation of supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in periodic inventory audits and the monitoring of office supply levels.
- Provide administrative assistance during the preparation of internal and external financial audits.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fundamental understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and procurement best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (formulas, data entry, and basic analysis).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for professional correspondence.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
