Responsibilities
- Prepare and process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and ensure all ledger entries are updated in the accounting system.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and tax compliance reports.
- Monitor and track inventory valuations to ensure alignment with production data.
- Maintain well-organized financial documentation and electronic filing systems for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with department heads to manage budget monitoring and expense tracking.
- Assist in the processing of payroll and other statutory government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Support external and internal audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or any related field.
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Solid understanding of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and BIR regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a team-based environment.
- Recent graduates with a strong academic background and internships in accounting are encouraged to apply.
