Responsibilities
- Process and record financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries with accuracy and attention to detail
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, cash flows, and various accounting reports to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns, VAT filings, and other required government submissions in accordance with Philippine regulations
- Support the preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with auditing standards
- Collaborate with senior accountants and tax professionals on client engagements and special projects as assigned
- Respond to client inquiries and provide professional assistance regarding accounting matters and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles is preferred but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and BIR compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information
- Effective communication skills in English and Filipino for liaising with clients and team members
