Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of financial tasks.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure full compliance with BIR tax filings, local government regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial processes and internal controls.
- Assist in the annual audit process and act as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and current tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage time effectively and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Filipino.
